Monday, 14th November 2005

Entropy International is delighted to announce that it is a winner in the Green Organisations’ 2005 Green Apple Awards. Managing Director, Carl Mead, collected the Gold Award for Environmental Best Practice in the Science and Technology category at a prestigious awards ceremony held at the Houses of Parliament on November 8th 2005. The award recognises Entropy’s contribution to improving the environmental performance of commercial and public sector organisations, and ultimately our contribution to global sustainability.

Well established as the biggest and most extensive scheme of its kind in the UK, and probably the world, the Green Apple Awards are in their eleventh successful year. The campaign is run by The Green Organisation (http://www.thegreenorganisation.info/), an independent environment group that are dedicated to promoting the positive side of environmental endeavour. They are supported by the Environment Agency, the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, the Chartered Institution of Waste Management, Municipal Journal and various other professional bodies and organisations.
