Government Customers

Together with BT we provide software and hosting service solutions to Central and Local Government agencies, departments and authorities. Existing use of Entropy Software at the Office for National Statistics, Carmarthenshire County Council and the Office of Government Commerce, together with BT's ability to provide the software as a secure Internet hosted solution, enabled us together to win the international competition for the OJEC contract to establish a web-based Environmental Management (EMS) and Monitoring System throughout the Department of Transport, and Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG).

The success of the project led to many other departments and agencies such as the Inland Revenue, Department for Education and Skills, and Department for Transport to become users of Entropy Software.

The BT/BSI Entropy Software Solution has been recognised as making a significant contribution to the UK Government's high level strategies of "Joined Up Government", "e-Government" and "Sustainable Development".
