About the Company

Entropy Software™ is provided by BSI Management Systems, a division of BSI Group. The Entropy product line has its development headquarters in Lancaster UK, with additional sales, support and client services offices in Ottawa ON Canada and Reston VA USA. The original company, Entropy International was founded in 1996 and acquired by BSI in 2006.

Co-founders Hewitt Roberts and Gary Robinson's collaboration began with the writing of the book, ISO 14001 EMS Implementation Handbook published by Butterworth Heinemann. It continued with the development of a software tool to allow businesses to assess the significance of their environmental aspects.

Today, BSI Management Systems provides software solutions based on its Entropy Software for risk, compliance, and performance management to brand name companies at over 14000 sites worldwide.

Entropy Software is a modular and scaleable solution to suit individual business needs in risk management areas such as Environmental, Health & Safety, Quality, Information Security, and Supply Chain Compliance Management.

Within these risk systems, Entropy Software provides management workflows that have been designed to be used independently or together. By communicating with each other the workflows combine to provide an integrated risk and compliance management system that improves data analysis while providing instant access to company-wide information.
